He is a great shooter....
But to compete against the P5 level programs and the upper half of the ACC you have to be more than a shooter and more than reliant on one person scoring... ask Reed.

the outcome of this season. A few key buckets, and we're dancing. I just wonder if the administration really cares, or that they're just good with a mediocre program coached by a terrific guy. If that's the case, then I'll just lower my expectations and be happy with a 1 or 2 win NIT every season.

Fletcher Magee is a phenomenal pure shooter obviously, but his performance against UK wasn't "one bad game." It was a product of the defense he was facing. He had similarly bad games against Kansas and Oklahoma.
