Lose a 5 star and - "Meh"! Remember when

Ya'll remember when losing a 5 star talent would have been devastating to Clemson? Not really; but the perception would have been - "Clemson is finished now"! Or, "what are ya'll going to do now"?
Now - the "WE TOO DEEP" mantra shows up and explains why you don't get that same anxiety!

Chez and Dukes and Kobe and Lynn J and..............it's crazy deep at RB! In a lot of ways, I don't blame Bowman. But, question for anybody, should a player not know that coming to a Clemson, Alabama, Ohio St, etc.? You have to be the best of the best of the best to get a bunch of playing time. Especially early! I wish D. Bowman well and I plan on following his career as I think he is a game breaker!

Clemson - solid as ever on the ground even with the departure though! Agree? Disagree?

I will assume that you don’t know the whole story so I’ll remain quiet.

What do you mean? FORESTTIGER

Not sure what you mean - but my post was simply about the "depth of the Clemson RB position" in 2020. What were you talking about?

In other words, "look how far we have come"!

Look at the talent gap that has been closed by the Clemson Coaching Staff! It's awesome to be a Clemson Tigers Fan!

Hunter Johnson I believe was a 5 star too right? Could be wrong! But, haven't missed a beat! If you are to be consistently good you have to be more than a good recruiting class every now and then - i.e.

Jerrion Ealy I believe ended up at Ole Miss - but he was a kid that at one point was thought to be coming to Clemson. Robert Nkemdiche was a big time player we "missed" on. The program survives still.

In short, again, we will survive losing Bowman! I wish him nothing but the best - but as Coach says, "that is in our rear view mirror"! We looking at the windshield right now! None of that just typed out has anything derogatory about anybody especially Bowman - who I will say again - I will follow his career and obviously wish him nothing but the best!
So, yeah, I am missing something if you think that was putting someone down or something of that nature.

Just Saying - the shelves aren't bare is all!

Clemson has done a great job of identifying talent that didn't have high star ratings!

Enough of the talk about how bad this will hurt(and it will) but not like some are carrying on. Anytime you lose a talent like Bowman - it's going to hurt. But, Clemson Football isn't going anywhere as long as the staff that's in place now stays together! And, keeps the basic belief in "their system" being more important than a star rating!
Have trust our coaching staff will develop guys to out perform their initial star rating! They certainly have proven by any known measurable standards that they can develop and get a kid above their initial grade! SEE The Names/Players above!
