LOL since when is the #8 ranked team in the nation mediocre? Dumb post.

They shouldn't be getting blown out at home like an FCS team

(0-3 and lost to Missouri last week)And the same happening to WF to a ND team that struggled against Vandy and believe Ball st.

UL losing 6-0 to UVA. Our schedule has been strong in recent years and we’ve been awarded for that in CFB. Well, that surely won’t be the case this year. Duke, Syracuse, NCSU- don’t really expect any to rise to the level we need for a quality win. Duke had potential but I think losing their QB for an extended period and their AA DB for the season is a serious blow to them. We’ve all seen the atrocity of FSU football. I don’t expect TAM to hold up under their schedule but will likely be our best win with UCS possibly 2nd(and they suck)

Just win. Keep winning. Our win at TX A&M is

Why are u so sure about that?

Especially if they take 2 from the SEC again, which is highly likely given what I've seen so far. If we're undefeated and other P5 champs have a loss then yeah probably.

Sure, if we are undefeated. Let us lose one and see what

happens. Say we lose to BC or Duke, it will be a tough task to get in the playoff, even if we are ACC champs. I hate to say it, but we better hope the coots have a good year, then we blow them out again!

if what you say happens, we won't deserve to make it

so in the end it doesn't matter what the teams on our schedule do.

Wrong!! It's all about perception. If the ACC is perceived

to be weak, if we are a one loss ACC champ, other conferences one loss champs will get in ahead of us. I can't believe how short-sighted some of you are!

well, you win - keep worrying and fretting about it

much much better than the teams on the schedule. I bet we are still below 50% to go 13-0 right now.

It's not 0%. There are other teams out there.

There may be more than 4 undefeated P5 conference champs. And SEC 1-loss teams can jump people.

It's unlikely that that happens, but it's not impossible.

not to mention the ACC being down

Quiz

In college football, what do you call a team that wins 15 games each by 1 point?

Ans.

National Champion

There's a reason that never happens

The closest I can even think of is the 2002 Ohio State team that won 7 games by a TD or less en route to going 14-0.

Teams that win a bunch of close games eventually lose.

And folks, that is why no one, NO ONE, puts credence in the polls this early in the season. It’s a fools game.
