Korn Enjoying Being Healthy, Being Back Out on the Field

Redshirt sophomore quarterback Willy Korn said he is enjoying feeling healthy and throwing like he knows he can as he battles Kyle Parker for the starting job. And he is even taking his job as a veteran seriously, helping fellow quarterback and true freshman Tajh Boyd adjust to the college game. Full Story »

I hope Willy wins the job. Not that I am pulling against

Kyle, Michael or Tahj; but I think Willy got a raw deal from Spence and Bowden after the chance he was offered to come in and compete for the job. I think it's obvious he never had a fair shot. Heck, Parker even said he was not given a play book the first year. Now what kind of a coach does that?

I know he tried, but dang, it was painful.

CH didn't get at least a chance at VT.

Yeah, just another in a long line of questionable calls.

Don't get me wrong, I'm actually glad TB was our coach and grateful for his time here. However, his coaching prowess/decisions left me scratching my head too many times.

TB seemed, at times, to be loyal, to a fault. At other times it seemed he was quick to shift blame or to make excuses. I liked many things about him, but I believe change was needed, and things will work out better for us.

I'll tell you why. Bowden was never about winning at CU. He

was about drawing a paycheck. And if could constanly make it look like the future was brighter, then that was in his best interest. I said in post on here , that when harper was given the job after Willy's first spring practice, when by all accounts and my own eyes it was fairly even, that Bowden's plan would be: Play Harper the first six games and if he went 3-3, then he would switch to Willy hoping Willy could go say 4-2 dwon the stretch and give Bowden at least one more year. Well, I missed it by one year because Harper lucked up and tore it up versus some #### ant teams. Check my posts from back then, but that is what I said.

Aug 9, 2009, 6:18 PM

I'm so glad Bowden is gone. I have sat through two seasons of watching arrogant, pathetic quarterback play because he let them play only because of seniority. I hope all of our quarterbacks get a fair shake from Dabo, and I'm confident they will. ABRACADABO! FEEL THE MAGIC!!!

Tahj Boyd Will Defintely win the Job at QB

Aug 9, 2009, 10:03 PM

You can look at him and tell that he is a winner. Boyd is the best QB we have by far.
