They have a very good tradition in baseball but that was at the D2 level.
This season they have beat 1 power 5 school , which was Oklahoma but lost the series 1-2.
The other big schools have absolutely killed them.
So this game should not be a problem.

get beat by inferior talent. All it takes is one good pitching performance from them, and a little help from us in the form of errors, or as in this post, complacency and mailing it in. You should never take any opponent for granted. Just ask USuk about their recent experience with some Blue Ho's  if you don't believe me.

True...Going back a few years ago, we were up Furman(i think) like 1-0 and a no-hitter in the 9th...They got the 1 to tie and beat us in 10...That leaves a sour taste in your mouth...

I knew you'd come through on some baseball notes. However, this team worries me because they can give up some runs but they can hit and score some runs. Granted competition not equal but they are 23-17. I know we'll win but could be closer than we think.
D1 ranks as of today:
KS - BA=54 , Scoring=39 , Runs=26 , Hits=22 , Homeruns=43
CU - BA=248, Scoring=107, Runs=98 , Hits=204, Homeruns=6

They are well coached but the talent doesn’t add up.
Sure they can win but we are bigger , faster and stronger.
GT beat them 17-7 I think and UGA beat them by comparable scores.
Most of their wins are Vs teams like Scaret hearts , Georgia st and teams like this.
I would not consider them even a mid major just a D2 school trying to be D1.

Good points!!! Can you imagine what our rank and record would be with numbers like theirs. 5 hitters +300 BA.
DH hits 600 but only appeared in 15 games.

I think they went to the CWS in Omaha just a couple years ago. Probably not chopped liver ..

They made it to the supers vs FSU I think and actually forced a game 3

They have been to the NCAA tournament 1 time in 2014 .
They did win the regional but didn’t win a game in the super.
Louisville beat them 2 games to none.
