Clemson hasn’t offered Trent Simpson the LB who visited for the BC game. Looks like we are only still recruiting 4 players with Clemson offers.

1. J. Flowe
2. J. Burch
3. A. Smith
4. X. Henderson

With the early signing period only a month and half away we won’t have to wait long to see which of these four become Clemson Tigers. I think the 2020 Clemson Tiger team will be the most talented team Coach Swinney has had at Clemson. Does Clemson win three College Football Playoff Titles in a row?

Whatever happened with Phillip Webb? Did we pull that offer when Flowe came into the picture? About the worst that I have heard on Flowe is that we are well out front of any other school, and I have heard anything up to him being a silent commit. Is there anything else that changed in regards to Webb, because if not I tend to believe the rumors of silent commit for Flowe.

I will preface by saying our coaches don't need help in this area and they are way smarter than I am in regards to recruiting.

In saying that, I would be shocked if we are waiting to offer another super-talented LB unless Flowe is a silent commit who just wants to be able to take his visits.

I seems an offer to Simpson would increase the urgency for them to commit if they were heavily considering Clemson.

This is especially true if both have been told there is only 1 LB spot remaining.

I felt really good about Flowe after the most recent updates were posted from him, but that has been a long time ago and being so far away it would be easy for him to let Clemson get out-of-sight and out-of-mind.

We will see how it all plays out soon enough.
