Spud I am certainly not saying that your idea is far-fetched but on a slightly more possible notes, how does the ACC sort out teams getting into the championship game with different numbers of games?
Let's say Clemson is 10-0 and solidly in by avoiding any cancellations.
How will the ACC choose an opponent between options including: Team A at 8-0 and Team B at 9-1?
My first thought is winning percentage but the odds of the 8-0 team winning 2 more to get to 10-0 could be low depending on which games they lost. I would be extremely upset if I was coach of team B who played all 10 games.

More concerned that we lose a game, like Notre Dame, and then another team strategically cancels a game to be 8-0 or 9-0.
I'd bet money that will happen in the SEC.
