Just a bit surprised at the "non-reaction" of chickenfans...

I suspect if Clemson, within the parameters of a few months:

... had a lackluster football season and got decimated by a mediocre ACC team in a nondescript bowl game,

...DIDN'T get close to a whiff of an invite to March Madness,

... barely made the conference baseball tournament where the team was eliminated in what was essentially a play-in game and definitely not even being mentioned for post-season NCAA play.........


Tiger fans would be screaming loud enough for all three coaches and the athletic director to understand the meaning of "hotseat" by the intensity of their displeasure. Chickenfans seem content to invent comfortable storylines that all is (basically) well. To be sure, there is the occasional grumble of thunder on a darkened horizon, but its infrequent.

And the chickens' future isn't particularly bright in any of the big 3 men's sports.
