Jets TEs coach Jimmie Johnson says second-year TE Jordan Leggett is over the knee issue that cost him his entire rookie season.
"He doesn’t worry about his knee," Johnson said. "He has those issues behind him now. So now, we can move forward and get back to playing football." Although fourth-rounder Chris Herndon is in the fold, Herndon is coming off a knee injury of his own. Johnson's comments have also made it sound like the Jets will be counting on Herndon more as a blocker in the early going. Leggett is in the lead when it comes to soaking up Austin Seferian-Jenkins' lost targets.
