I've said for years what Clemson needs in a basketball coach

Is to find our Terry Holland. I know that's going way back, but Virginia was nothing in basketball before he arrived. He built steadily, won an ACC Tournament around Wally Walker, then started bringing in guys like Jeff Lamp. He grew the program, then he landed Sampson and became elite. Even went to a Final Four after Ralph graduated. Continued to win consistently until he retired.

No idea who that is, but if UVa could do it, and is now doing it again, there is zero reason why we can't. Ga Tech was horrid before Cremins arrived. It can be done.

make excuses, but that's all they are. We may never be on the level of UNC or Dook, but there is another level just below that yet above where we have been that should be well within our reach.
