I'm glad they came back from their Financial troubles. My mother-in-law used to work there and they've treated her very nice in retirement. She still gets a very deep discount to shop there.

Belk (or Belk Simpson as it was known in the 60s) was where my mother always took me. Is still a good store.

Yeah, but now the "Belks" card is gone, like the Sears card. Replaced by a regular credit card company.
