Is anyone else worried about OL recruiting?

Seems more times than not we are always runner up when it comes to a highly rated OL we really wanted. We only have one OL commit right now. Does anyone know if we have some targets for the line that we should end up getting? Is Caldwell a weak link in recruiting?

yes We’d all like some more ol recruits. No I don’t think Caldwell is a weak link.

If we have a weak link it is not consistently putting people in the nfl. THis is what was used against us last year. If we can get a few in, that should just improve. I don’t think it’s a Caldwell issue.

I have been for at least the last 15 years. And Yes....He is. No offense, maybe the other coaches are just that good.

I have discovered through the past few years, that regardless of whether I worry or not about recruiting, the product on the field remains unchanged.

For some reason TNet is announcing all targets commitments which makes it seem like we are missing out on guys. We’re fine.

this year. Things didn't set up real well for us in terms of where the OL prospects were located, but we've missed on a lot of OL targets.

Not really. As soon as we can get this pioneer coaches to stop selling kids on the pro-style blocking scheme being the only way to get these guys to the pros then it will never change. Look at UGA...they are selling kids on the pro style and are sneakily transitioning over to the spread.

I learned long ago that it takes talent to worry successfully. Since I do not possess that talent I find that leaving that worry to the coaches, I can spend my time enjoying our success as the three time consecutive conference champions and even a national championship and the potential for another fantastic year. We have several red shirt OL who will be playing this year and from what I have heard, these guys look pretty good.
