Is Tajh an NFL, CFL or AFL quarterback?

Feb 19, 2014, 6:22 PM

We all know he has done wonders at Clemson & is a big part of our recent revival to the national scene. HOWEVER, he gets average reviews due to mechanics, staring down one receiver & running too quickly under pressure. Is he really NFL material at QB or will they try to pull a Woody Dantzler on him & move him to RB? How about the wider CFL field where he can utilize his running better & work on checking down to 2nd & 3rd options with more space to work with? The AFL is obviously 90% passing and can't say that is TB's best option at success; Kurt Warner was never a runner anywhere close to Tahj.

THIS IS NOT A CRITICISM...just wondering out loud.

NFL. Tajh has a much stronger and more accurate arm...

than Woody Dantzler did. Dantzler didn't have the arm or accuracy to make it as an NFL QB, Tajh Boyd does.

I heard one talking head say Boyd had a great receivers

at Clemson and would struggle in the NFL. Well I think that in the NFL there are a few good receivers also. The best of the best right?

No way Tajh makes an NFL roster ...

Feb 19, 2014, 8:09 PM

Not sure he will be drafted. If he is, he might be a late rounder. Realistically, his size, speed, and skill set is clearly not NFL material. Not sure he would pursue CFL or indoor football (is that what you mean by AFL?). He will be yet another in a long line of really good college QBs who simply isn't what they're looking for in the NFL.

Taj will earn a paycheck in the NFL, not the CFL. Whether he earns a second contract is up to him but he has the same abilities that Wilson has, so he should do fine. He may even surprise people and excel. He just needs to improve his presence under pressure, which he will surely see in the NFL. Lord knows he has the skills and ability to succeed, up to him at this point. He was one of the best CFB QB's in recent years, and they can never take that away from him. I suspect he will make his living in the NFL just fine.

All of the above!***
