I suspect they fear someone could have a balloon with them and/or some helium. They wouldnt want that

If I understand correctly they stopped selling GA tickets for the hill and have guarded the barriers much more closely in past seasons. You have to have a hill ticket to get on which were only given out to students I believe.

And for some of the hot early day games you won't get every student to show up.

According to both students and Iptay, edict it to "fill the hill" ... half of student tix this year will be season tickets ... rest will be via lottery with anything left set aside for game day distribution ... should be easier for students who decide not to go to give to someone who does.


If there not maybe they should just paint a big white paw

there on the grass like Mizzou has that huge "M" on their hill. Would probably look better than half empty section in the middle.
