night was much more terribler against us than FSU. Otherwise Martin would have been pitching a fit. Totally inconsistent all night long. 1st pitch a foot off the plate called a strike yet 2 strike count and paint the corners called a ball. Same pitch was called a strike then called a ball. ACC shouldn't let HS umps behind the plate in a semi.

All that being said, we had plenty of chances to win the game. FSU made a play when they had to. Hope Cardinals win today so that we can keep a national seed.

We'd watch a third strike on a full count on the same basic pitch that would walk and FSU player.

Later we started swinging at bad pitches because we were conditioned to believe we couldn't take a close pitch that wasn't a strike.

The inconsistency was what sent Monte over the edge.
