I'm glad Clemson didn't succumb to pressure to cancel

this weekend's game. The fact that SCar cancelled reminded me of the brawl back in 2004.
We were weak and gave in to cancelling our bowl trip just because of SCar.
Kudos to Clemson for playing football on a sunny Saturday instead of giving in to the outsiders saying we should have cancelled like our feathered friends.

Let's hope they don't have brother. Would be ridiculous to cancel given the situation.

...when did all the SNOWFLAKES drop out of the sky with all their hypersensitive PC invasions of normal, rational thought processes?
THERE IS NO REASON AT ALL TO CANCEL THE CLEMSON/Georgia St. football game.

Columbia will be feeling the effects on Saturday and the midlands law enforcement resources will probably be needed on the coast.

Playing the game on Saturday at noon is the right decision based on the weather forecast at this time.
Some people evacuated from the coast to the upstate. If you are displaced, it would be great to be at the game. Others will travel and stay with relatives in the upstate instead of traveling home.
People in the upstate can get home before the weather gets bad.
Troopers need to be serving the people of the state, so traffic control will be limited, but only patience is required to get in and out. It has been done before without limited assistance.
If you live east of Columbia and from Horry County to Charleston, each person will have to make a decision to travel or not if you were not in the evacuation zones. It might be fine going, but terrible trying to get home.
I will miss my first home game in over 20 years. Yet, I don't feel safe traveling in the weather conditions. If something changes dramatically, I'll go, but as of right now, I will not. I hate it, but it is what it is. Attendance will be impacted because I know of 9 of us not going from various places in the state.
The October flood during the Norte Dame game was not caused by any tropical storm, but just heavy rains. That is the biggest threat. Yet, it will not reach the upstate until late Saturday or Sunday. I went to Norte Dame knowing the weather, but could not get home for two days after all of the roads washed out or were flooded in Sumter I was able to extend my hotel stay. This time, with evacuations, hotels are not readily available, and I wasn't planning on going up early with the initial game time.
I'll be watching on the TV, so long as I have power.
Yet, all Tigers need to be thinking about those in the east of our state.
GO TiGERS.
