When we only have a 1 run lead. Why not leave the pitchers in that were mowing them down? Monte must have a reason but it seems odd with only a one run lead.

monte is doing that so that all pitchers will be available for ND series. That is a huge series on the road. We all know we have had problems with relievers lately, and this will give him the option to pull a pitcher quickly and still have others available for the entire week end

ND is a huge deal as far as our seeding.

I will say that I think we should just worry about winning this game first. We are still in a position to host if we can go on a run late, but losing this game will keep that from happening unless we win the ACCT.

Because beating Charleston Southern will have no impact on our ACC/Post season seeding. It all comes down to winning 2 of 3 in South Bend, and having the arms to potentially sweep. I liked the move. I'd like to see Barnes and Krall go Friday/Saturday and just throw Johnny Wholestaff on Sunday if need be.
