If we do not make the Big Dance..

We have to make a coaching change. Period. It will be a good spot for a new coaching coming in to take over a young team.
We also need Clemson fans to be unified in this decision. The reason we are enduring another season like this is because of the Brownell apologists. You have had your way for too long. Need you to get on board with change.

It's not a question about being quitters,it a question about just not being good enough record-wise.

towel today. You know, quit.
As fans, let's just hang on, support, and hope for the best. Let's not be on a public form, bashing, and calling for heads.
It's clear - make the tourney and get another year. Don't make the tourney (i.e. not enough wins), then it's time for a change. I think most can agree on that. Just have some class though, and let it play out.

I guarantee that Dan Radakovich has a list of possible replacements for every coach including Dabo Swinney. Because anything can happen and that’s his job to be ready for whatever. Don’t ask the fans who are sick and tired of this to be patient and classy when the AD already knows who he will be contacting. My guess is he’s already got feelers out there. He’s too smart to wait until other schools cast bait first.

If we go 2-0 this week, with two home games, we will be back in the discussion.

If we make the tourney, then he bought another year.
If we don't, then it's time for a change. Period.
No hard feelings. No need to bash. The metric is fair and reasonable. Don't meet it, then move on.

If I am not mistaken, his extension included a cheaper buyout. So, if we know it needs to be done, why not get it done now and salvage the development of our young players.

Several reasons.
Feb 16, 2019, 3:17 PM
|
|
1. We are coming off of one of our best seasons in program history. 2. Brad just signed an extension. 3. This season isn’t nearly as horrible as some of you are making it out to be.

Judge is correct CBB is not going anywhere after THIS season. Unless he get's several tremendous grad transfers then after the 2019-2020 season will we likely see a change with the coaching staff.

I didn't say it's been a terrible year. Just not as good as should have been.We had a great core team, and after this season we lose, what, 5 or 6 players? If we can't do it this year, then it looks bleak for next year with a difficult rebuilding task. He's had time.. He's had more than enough time. I'm not worried about the extension and nobody else should be. The results will be speak for themselves. If we make the tourney, then he's earned another year. If we don't make the tournament, then it's time to turn the page. Period.

No one said anything about quitting but the likelihood of this team making the NCAA Tournament is remote at best.
They would have to win at least four, if not five, of the next six games to have any realistic chance.

What is he quitting? His job?

If you mean quit supporting the Tigers, then how is he supporting them now? Do we know? Does he just watch them on TV? Listen on the radio? Is this particular individual’s lack of support going to doom Brownell and the Tigers?
Let everyone vent. Let everyone speak their peace. There’s really nothing any of us are going to do/not do that’s going to influence DRad’s decisions.

If we don't make the tournament next year, but the team shows tons of potential, I am still not sure he should be gone, because we will be so young. Moreover, we have to know who is also in the following recruiting class.
