Agree. We are buldimg a run based attack by running the qb

more than Etienne or Feastor, sometimes more than those two combined, a qb who doesnt spot open receivers and overthrows the ones he sees, and who has no idea where a pass more than 35 yards is coming down. He is really fast, I will give him that.
Johnson can give the ball to Etienne/Feastor 30 times a game, run 10, and throw 35 times really, really well. What is wrong with that?

Nothing wrong with it, you’re just on the wrong side of this one this year. I’m certainly not advocating a qb change this late in the year but I do think if we find ourselves in a situation like cuse where we have to win throwing we should put HJ in.

you cant mention anything other than "we rock" without getting a catty comment back, so I thought I might as well air it out one time.
But yes, I understand like everybody else that if new running backs are not picking up blitzes, etc, you have to ease them in, if a new qb is not making reads, he needs to learn to do so before he plays. Got that. Not questioning the staff or anything like that.
And next year is a whole new dynamic. But it is, I guess, interesting, having a qb running more than the best runner on the team and throwing more than the best passer on the team. More than half of all running attempts are by qb. Is that really what we need to do? I am sure it is - our staff thinks so - but it would be interesting to hear why.

Don't believe what your eyes are telling you.

He really doesn't hit receivers in perfect stride instead of making them play jump ball for the passes. You're just imagining that.
He could have never won the Syracuse game by scoring several touchdowns.
Just ask all the experts on here.
P.S. Have you taken your blue pill lately.

So, you'd be okay with losing a game just to see this?

That's not the answer to the question

What's Syracuse (unranked) got to do with your desire to see us ust experiment with starting a rookie QB vs a ranked opponent just to see what would happen?
If (in hind sight) you're saying statring Hunter johnson against Syracuse might have turned out better, then say that. I don't disagree (once again in hind sight) ...
I also think hitting two short FGs would have achieved the same result.
Or getting off the field defensively a couple of times instead of letting them move the chains with penalties and busted plays.
