Panthers and split it into shares and put it on the market with an IPO, ala the Green Bay Packers.

The Panthers as the second publicly owned and traded team would be really cool.

Heard on Charlotte sports radio not too long ago the Richardson kids planned to sell the team whenever Jerry passed away.

He can sell it for at least $2 Billion, possibly up to $4 Billion dollars. I highly doubt an IPO could generate that type of cash. The Packers were put up at a time when franchises were much cheaper.
