hearing some Keith Jackson calls on gameday this morning reminded me just how bad some of these announcers are now. I understand that there are a bunch more broadcasts and you don't get the A team , but still. And it seems like it just gets worse every year

I am old, but in their prime guys like #### Enberg, Curt Gowdy, Chris Schenkel, and even Brent Musburger could call a pretty good game.
I would even add to that list Pat Summerall, but he was mostly NFL and Golf.

Although there were a few Gowdyism late in his career.
They have won 7 consecutive games in a row. And, their future is definitely ahead if them!
I used to say Keith Jackson had the best job in the world. He only had to work 4 months a year and he got to see what was usually the best college football game every Saturday!

Was flipping through the channels the other night and caught the last couple of minutes before the half in a game I can even remember the teams that were playing. Didn't get many words about the game but I did get an account of every second ticking off the clock.
I find the best way to watch a game on TV, other than the Clemson game, is to turn the volume down to ZERO.
