I think a lot of Younger Fans Don't Understand NC State

I'll have to go Danny Ford and refer to you as "youngsters" and "young people"...

There has always been some bad mojo surrounding the NC State game. Granted, we have had years when we have taken care of business but this game has always had me knotted up as the potential for a messy, sloppy game that we can lose.

Even in winning, we don't always play with style points.

I hear ya man. I lived in the Raleigh area when they beat us 4 years in a row. It was horrible for me as my co-workers all knew I was a big Clemson football fan and many of them were NC State grads. Every time we play State, I still get a bad feeling in my gut. We rarely just roll over them even though we almost always have a much more talented team.

leftie, I am 77 and I also don't understand some of our games against N.C State. Do you remember the #### Sheridan years at N.C. State where he seemed to kick our rears every year?

I worked in Charlotte for 4 years, and my boss was a NCSU fan, and miserable to work for. I really wish I could see his face now after so many losses to CLEMSON. I don't have any love for NCSU at all.

I'll never get over the craziness of Nc State. I'll never forget Philip Rivers and TA Mclendon going wild on us for what seemed like forever.

Also remember what I believe was a Thursday night game during James Davis' freshman year. He ran for like 150 yds in the first half but broke his hand right before halftime.
