I realized last night that I can't stand Steve Levy.

I know he's been with ESPN a long time, but he really got on my nerves last night. From talking about all of the punts, to Trevor Lawrence's "inexperience," to emphasizing that the Duke player chose Duke over Clemson "for academics," to saying that Feaster is from "Spartansburg," he was just really annoying and seemed to know little about Clemson.

I hope he never calls one of our games again. Just really irritating all night.

The only thing going for him is his mouth. What does that tell you. Announce the #### ballgame and other than that shut the flack up

They also called "Trevion Thompson" in coverage on defense last night (it was Trayvon Mullen of course).

I think it was late in the 1st half, Clemson had the ball, and that maroon commented how quiet the Clemson fans were, contrasting to the earlier part of the game when the fans were really into it. His implication being that Clemson are fair weather fans because they are not loud and into the game when things are going well.

HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE !!!. We were on OFFENSE!!! Fans are supposed to be quiet. How can someone that stupid be given that important of a job. The guy is a total idiot and should not be broadcasting football.

^^^ This^^^..... Couldn't believe that.
I said almost the same thing to my wife that you said above.
Does this guy know anything about football? We are on offense and he's calling
out the crowd for not being loud anymore?
What a joke!!

I heard this. My like of Levy plummeted after that ......***

Thank God for the mute button, which has been utilized most every game at my house.

I listened to most of the game on mute. Didn’t miss anything.

and realize that fans voice opinions on the internet. You won't always agree with them, but you don't have to be snarky about it.

I’m not one to complain about commentators. I think most of them do a good job. But Steve Levey is friggin clueless. He never understands the situation of a game. He doesn’t know the rules of the game. He always says a wrong name. He’s just terrible. I’m not even saying he’s biased or dislikes any certain team. He’s just terrible at the fundamentals of commentating. I cringe when I see he’s calling one of our games.

They also seemed to imply that Ettiene must be injured because he wasn't in the game.
If they did just a little research they would know that we rotate RB's in and out
of the game all the time.

WCCP App.

Get it. use it. Or if you are not technologically inclined and you live in the upstate of SC, FM 105.5 on your radio dial.

Forget those ESPN turds. Listen to our guys.

Thanks, but I wasn't able to watch live last night.

I DVRed it. Watched part of it late last night, and the rest this morning, so I couldn't use WCCP.

Did anyone have a problem with Levy when he called the 56-7 coot game two years ago?

I always have a problem with those guys...

because they don’t know anything about our team. I mute the TV audio and listen to guys who know about our team - the Clemson game radio broadcast (also available online thru the WCCP streaming app). You should try it.

Noy, my opinion of him sure has changed the last couple of years. He did one of our home games in 2015 or 2016 that was particularly bad. Haven't liked him since. Total SEC homer, too

HR#13 left his body on the field trying to catch that ball. One of those ######## said I’m not sure if he’s hurt or if that’s just frustration from not catching the ball. He obviously knows nothing about HR. No drama, just gets it done. If he’s laying on the field, then it’s not good.

That stuff doesn't bother me, It was all factual, correct stuff. Some of you people think the world has to think our sheeet doesn't stink. He was fine.

it's a pretty clear consensus that YOUR sheeeet stinks to high heaven.

Levy stinks. He doesn't know anything about our team and he's clueless about this level of college football. Wake up get a clue.

Since I feel like he’s been on hand for some of our unexpected home losses/close games to lesser opponents last two years, but I just don’t like his voice or cadence for calling football. His tone is weird and I don’t feel that he offers great insight/analysis. I like him on Sportscenter oddly enough. Just feel he’s more of a hockey guy and should stick to that. Griese is meh but did have a couple of nice things to say about us at least
