Teo is fantastic in CF. You lose a little if you put Wharton out there, but you lose a ton if you put Jolly in LF. Idk that having an extra bat right now is worth giving up a really good defense in LF and CF. Teo has saved some runs out there in some big spots.

It's strategic differences. I personally prefer to have him in CF until Meredith gets back. If Jolly were really good in the OF, I'd be all for the switch now though.

If we weren't pitching at a high level right now, and playing more like we did in 2016 when we had to outscore everyone, I'd put Jolly in the field. When you can't keep people from scoring you have to put your best bats in the order anyway possible. But that's not the case right now. Pitching has been impressive thus far.

The use him as a defensively replacement late in the game. He avgs 3 strikeouts a game as a hitter...that’s embarrassing. No other common contribution can outweigh that.

He's been pathetic at the plate, but we're 16-2. Just say those 2 losses are all on him, which I don't think they are. W/O his D, or having Jolly in LF for Wharton (he'd be in CF), do you think we miss on enough plays to be worse than 16-2, or do you think we hit well enough to be better than 16-2?

I know he is getting frustrated, as he is trying to rip every pitch. I swear he isn't coming within 6" of the ball. Right now he is just killing us.

He seems to fall over the plate and be off balance ever time he swings. Already called for 2 interference plays as well. I’m pulling for him. I hope he makes an adjustment soon.

At some point you're going to have to trade his defense for some bat production. What good is our defense if we can't score? I want Teo to be good but my gosh he is swinging at near wild pitches.
