I just don't think Cam Newton will ever be a great NFL QB

Oct 18, 2015, 5:37 PM

He can't make the easy throws and doesn't have "touch". He can zip it and sometimes makes some great throws and runs, but just seems like he can't do the casual easy stuff. I hope I'm wrong.

Well his 'me' attitude doesn't lend well either. Exact opposite of a leader. Olson and Luke are the only reason I watch....

Maybe they'll take Watson in 2 years. If they can find a way to dump Scam's ridiculous contract

I'm sorry but that's just a narrative that's not true. His teammates love him. The fans in Charlotte love him. He is great around the community and with charities. He may never turn out to be a hall of fame QB but he does pretty good job with limiteded weapons

I can't stand his me attitude, like when he gives a TD ball

to a fan, which is normally a kid. So selfish to be doing that. Doesn't he know the classy thing to do is just keep the ball for himself.

Rookie of the Year. 2x pro bowler. Back to back playoffs. All with a limited receiving core.

And one of the best defenses in football....

He can thank them for playoffs as well.

Agreed receiving isn't great, but he can't throw it well

Lost respect a few years ago when Carolina was down 20+ points and he does the superman and point after a first down. Get back to line and get ready, you're getting your butt kicked..

Spends more time on the sideline tucking is towel to look cute than studying the play book and prepping for next set of downs

Somehow I believe the "me" person, Cam will show up to help someone quicker than the person bashing Cam for being a "me" person.

My wife is from Charlotte, all I hear from her kin is how great Cam is in the community.

Listen. Not going to get into it with fellow Tigers of the piece cam is. Few things I can't stand about him

1. To much superman and pointing poses when the Panthers are losing. It's over the top. We saw it... Now get back to work.

2. He's to concerned about his image on the sideline. His the picture I posted. Every game after every set he spends minutes doing tbat crap. Just get back to work like a Peyton or Rodgers or Brady.

3. Community service has nOTHInG at all do with his play. Nothing. Not preparing does. Acting like he's the only one responsible for win does. Few years back his sulking and crying at the podium is when I quit respecting him.

Still here. So descent completion %, twice as many ints as throwing TDs is what you guys call best in NFL. ?

Oct 18, 2015, 8:16 PM

only two good players they have on offense is Jonathan Stewart and Gregg Olson. Their WR's are terrible. I have been very impressed the way Newton has played with scrub WR's.
