I hope that Dabo realizes that going to the Big 12

is not his decision to make. The school is infinitely bigger than him and he will not be around forever.
He says the Big12 stuff is a distraction, yet he wants to comment about it to reporters? He also says he's having problems with recruits because of it, yet FSU is still bringing in top recruits?
Not the smartest of comments from Dabo. Honestly, he should have just said he wants the BEST for Clemson. That could mean several things... the comments of "it would be the worst thing for Clemson" puts everything in a negative light, IMO.

an excuse for recruiting.
Overall, I'm just tired of any excuses from Clemson coaching staffs.
Its simply time to get it done.

what will he say if we do go to the big 12? he'll be stuck

in a corner then. I like Dabo, but I think he's probably scared for his job if we go to the Big 12. If that's the case, he should accept the challenge instead.

it's just NOT the best way to go about it. To me, his comments will make recruits even more confused. Because the rumors of Clemson and FSU to the Big12 ARE NOT put to bed... so happens if we DO go? Dabo stated it would be the worst thing Clemson could do... what will recruits think then?

would be no reason for Clemson to entertain the idea of it. They would come out and REALLY shut the door... not just legal jargon talk.

"it would be the worst thing for Clemson"

To be saying this when asked about it to reporters, it would "seem" Dabo ALREADY knows what the rest of us don't know yet. No way he would be saying "it would be the worst thing for Clemson" when up till now he's said he'd coach if they told him he was is the PAC 12 tomorrow.
FSU recruiting doesn't mean diddly, Dabo only can see what his recruits are telling him.
FSU is not going anywhere, they pulled this whole conference jumping rumor crap last year.

Dabo has a right to his opinion.

And I would believe he has a better idea of what is going on than anybody posting on tigernet.
Also, just because he doesn't think leaving the ACC would be a good idea does not mean he is afraid of competition.
He is of the same opinion as me. I do not believe the ACC will be excluded from any playoff format and a move to the Big XII would not bring significant money like some here believe.

You're correct.. he has a right to his opinion.

It's just the way he goes about it. You don't say you've had recruiting "issues" (EXCUSE) because of Big12 talk and then go out in public and talk about it and say how BAD it would be for Clemson... WHEN, in fact, the talks have NOT been put to bed.
