Your going to be making the same post 50 years from now. We need some major recruiting sanctions on UNC, a great coach, and a clutch superstar player. None of those look probable.

Would it be cheating to have our boosters pay the refs to not take $ from UNC boosters and to just call a fair game. Hypothetical question if we had a team with a chance. I'm willing to go to pretty drastic measures at this point.

I have seen several years where we were the better team and there was still no way the refs were going to allow a Clemson victory. I think we should give serious consideration to ending the basketball program and use the money on other sports,

After leading Clemson to historic victory in Chapel Hill Reed, Grantham, and Mitchell get phone call from President Trump. Tar Heel Coach Davis says it had to happen eventually.

I gave up on this game after 2008. We were the better team and were dominating them at CH. It was basically decided that we wouldn't be so much as allowed to advance the ball past mid court until they caught up. Which still took them most of the second half. Then after fouling out most of our team they finally won in double OT. The most ridiculous thing I've ever watched. Won't allow myself to care again. Might as well be pro wrestling.

Not really sure why we are pouring money into renovations and such in a basketball program like this. Let's hope this helps but I think the problem is deeper than where we play.

fans. They are a stale cheese and wine crowd and they care less about about football. The ACC championship is a great example. They had
10k to 15k there. They have more fans at a basketball game. They support football like we do basketball.
They don't act to excited about a close basketball game, in that they don't stand and yell for over 2 minutes a game.
I think we will win soon. It's good to see money being allocated for a redo of Little John. WE should be able to recruit better with the Clemson brand being big right now because of the Football.
We will see our best days for basketball too. I believe the athletic department is as good as it's been in a long time. We have a good president and athletic director that are working together to build a strong program.
That's my opinion, the best is yet to come. Go Tigers!

now, almost 40 years later, I haven't abandoned hope, but I didn't even watch our game vs unc the other day---and for me, that an extreme rarity.
And should unc be rightly hammered by the NCAA for the decades if cheating, it won't be any sort of "moral victory"---but, again IF it happens, I'll applaud heartily

I am 58 and have the same thoughts...have seen us beat them in Littlejohn a few times for what that is worth. I thought this year's game was actually very competitive. Tigers showed good effort.
