I get the concern regarding Putnam, but not with Crouch

Crouch was more than likely gonna play defense for us as a linebacker. We have 5 linebackers committed, including three 4 stars. People need to chill regarding him. Now with Putnam, I completely understand the concern. The fact that we're more than likely going to have only 3 O-line signings over two classes is very concerning.

Putnam would be the bigger loss but Crouch is still a 5 star talent and you can never have too many of them. Our Lb 2 deep should be considerable more athletic next season which is encouraging. We've had guys that have played well but our linebackers have been on the whole kind of surprisingly unathletic for a while.

It will work out with time, but this relationship is a win-win for Crouch & Clemson.
