He's a harmless flea on that team. They'll lose 5 or 6 a year regardless. LSU is an actual contender. They don't have a Heisman QB anymore but they're still a contender because the SEC is such a cakewalk and is basically a one game season with bama. You can lose two games and they'll still give you a spot bc the media hasn't quite caught up yet with reality.

If this was a decision between LSU and Wake Forest then I would want him to choose the lesser team.

I don't want scar to get one ounce of momentum that could help them beat UT, UK, Mizzou, and the likes.

I would rather take my chances with having to beat LSU with an extra top player.

LSU is likely to fill the scholarship with another top player if not with Burch, and at least with Burch there is the chance that he can't handle the lift in competition and doesn't pan out.

Send him to LSU and let the coots remember where they stand in college football.
