The Tigers ever beating the same team twice in one season except for GT in 2009. As I recall we beat them in the championship game in Tampa but they were stripped of games later by the ncaa for allowing a booster to buy a player some clothes. I guess we got credit for that win.
GT has been a real threat to the Tigers for many years. Most of the games that have been played were in Atlanta and GT wasn’t in the ACC. I expect this years game to be closer than some may think.

They beat us in Tampa, but had to forfeit. NOBODY got credit for winning that game. It is as if it never happened.

Yes 2011 I believe at VT and then again in the Championship game. We did not beat GT twice in 2009. They did have to forfeit their win later, but we didn't get credit for it.

Lost to GT in the regular season and in the championship game in 2009. GT had Championship stripped but it was not given to us. Instead, it went un-awarded that year. VT in 2011 is the only 2 game sweep I can recall.
