How many games will it take!?

Watson has better stats and looks like the better player. Let him play and make some mistakes so this team can grow with him.
Same goes with running backs, stop playing seniors that can't play. Put the skilled kids in.
Go tigers!!!

What did Cole not do that make's you call for the backup? I like the way Dabo and Morris are bringing Deshaun into action on a slow pace.He hasn't got the whole package yet.Be patient and good things will happen.

Playing both seems to be working fine, but have to believe Watson's PT keeps increasing each week, he should/would be playing more or starting at most schools, he has Heisman potential oozing from him, the most talented and highest ceiling player on the Tiger roster. Let him play, often and early. These type phenols are rare and you see them only so often, why waste a that kind of talent on the sidelines. He gets better with every series, could already be the best fresh QB in nation, likely is.

how many games will it take? when cole stops completing 21 or 22 of 33 passes for over 300 yds.i bet you would like to see cole get hurt,so watkins can play.i want watkins to get as much playing time as he can,but i trust our coaches knowing more about it than a couch or at the game coach. winston was a red shirt freshman..not a true freshman.what year was cam newton before he became a great qb. i am just thankful that we have two good qb's.

Address this about the way Stoudt played yesterday:
Remember he nearly threw 3 picks, and we had to settle for 3 FG's with Stoudt in. Had Adam Humprhies wide open for a TD pass, but under threw it and hit the SC State nickel back in his hands who was six steps behind Adam. Missed a wide open Mike Williams coming across the middle. Missed an open Demare Kitt. Had Charone Peake open on a deep pass, waited too late to throw and under threw it allowing the SC State DB to catch up and nearly make an interception. Threw it right to an SC State linebacker, who luckily dropped it. Threw the ball 10 yards over the head of Germone Hopper, who was open in the flats for a TD.
Address these horrible mistakes. And don't change the subject away from those mistakes.

Stoudt is older and has gone through too many 2-a-days as a backup to be overtaken. It's obvious Watson is a lesser qb than stoudt.........why u ask??.........cuz dabo said so

One game, the next game...vs. FSU. Stout will struggle a bit, do some good things, but Watson will lead a comeback and keep it close, maybe win the game, he is better than any other player on Clemson's team as far as skill, upside and drive. The kid is just amazing as a true freshman, no was Cole could ever do that as a true freshman. Given reps, Watson shows he is the next Johnnie FB for CFB, he is the real deal. The more he plays, and keeps putting up the same silly stats he did in HS everyone will wonder why he ever rode a bench. Clemson hit Gold with this recruit, he is worthy of Heisman talk if ever he could just be allowed to play the whole game. His numbers would be sick. This kid is the real deal.
