How can one listen to the game on a cell phone?

Oct 19, 2012, 6:05 PM

I have an iPhone and I used to be able to listen to the game on the Tunein app. Now all I am able to get is the regular broadcast of either wccp or 93.3 Can anyone please help me with this?

Yes I still have tunein. But when I tried to listen to the Ga Tech game all I got was the sports talk that is normally on. No game being broadcast.

If you are trying to listen in the stadium there are going

to be problems with data availability even with the new upgrades as it was mostly to improve calling.

When using tune in to connect with WCCP on gameday you might run into some gaps because that is the station the majority of listeners are choosing.

My recommendation is to use the tunein radio app but choose a few stations other than WCCP to listen to the broadcast to improve the quality.

Here is a list. http://tunein.com/radio/stations/Clemson-Tigers-Radio-Stations-a37589/

other than that. Just go get a cheap walkman and ear buds from walmart.

I have an android and loaded the Clemson app from ClemsonTigers.com. It has a radio tab and broadcasts all the games. I don't listen to the tv commentators, just stream the audio from my phone. There is a little delay, but worth it.

What is Clemson Tigers HD***

Intetnet Games

Oct 19, 2012, 6:30 PM

Due to licensing the games can no longer be broadcast over the internet. Same for most schools. Wccp app no longer works for games, you get Yahoo sports.

Re: Intetnet Games

so the only way I can see what is going on if i am not near a radio or tv is to keep up with it on ESPN or a scoreboard app? I can't listen to the broadcast anymore?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I have a Clemson football app

Oct 19, 2012, 6:57 PM

Two ideas:

Oct 19, 2012, 7:04 PM

1) watch ESPN works on iPhone and is free if your home cable is time Warner. I think some other cable companies have tie-ins too
2) I got an iPod nano 6 gen for working out. It has a built in FM tuner that uses the headphones as an antennae. It's very small and reception is great

Re: Two ideas:

I dont have a provider to be able to use watch ESPN, and I have a radio remote for my ipod classic but I work in a manufacturing plant so signal is poor! That is why I am trying to use an app!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I had the same problem... read this

Oct 19, 2012, 7:13 PM

I called wccp and they told me CU wont let me stream it anymore. They told me you have to listen to it on a university web site, i think its clemsontigers.com or something like that.
call wccp and they will give you the website.

cheers

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'm not positive, but wouldn't the I-heart-radio app work?

Oct 19, 2012, 8:38 PM

I think it allows you to listen to radio stations all over the nation.

Search for 94.7 in florence. It is on the CU radio network and plays the games still....for now.
