Shawn was from Sumter. She was a freshman with me and dated a guy that was on D3 with me. I used to talk to her quite often until she became popular on campus and dropped her boyfriend like a hot rock. She made the calendar, homecoming queen I think and started dating Dwight Clark shortly after that.

I ran into Shawn at the fastfare at Clemson when she came back the next year to host Tigerama. I made sure to bump into her so I could say excuse me.
Sherry Thrift used to come to the training room in Jervey where I was getting therapy for shoulder surgery.
Both were beautiful, but Shawn was about a foot taller.

I was sitting in a box at the Gator Bowl in 1986 (CU - Stanford) and Shawn was in the box with us for the second half ....... nice! I also won $250 in the betting pool! Good day!
