Heard from a trusted source....

Per a source within 247 the NCAA is already looking into the Belk situation. Nothing may come from it but apparently the NCAA has seen/heard enough that they found it necessary to take a look. #eatspopcorn

It alway smells when a lawyer is involved when a player decommits and they speak for the player. Has any other player hired a lawyer when they decommited?

Belk needed a plan B if NCAA started looking at the cawks recruiting violations.

It's pretty much a given that the coot coaching staff was talking to Belk even after he signed with Clemson.

I heard that he was an underachiever that played too many video games and the Power Rangers told Dabo he had to go. That's just what I heard.

7%....wow

After the way NCAA handled unc, they have zero legitimacy in my eyes.

So I will expect nothing and probably be right. Which is worse, institutional oversight of made up classes to get grades and degree (haha to the later) or selling an autograph for $500. They’ll destroy the athlete and let the big money off the hook who are the bigger part of the problem.

You have to remember that Scar isn't UNC. They have been placed on probation 3 times since 2000 for much less than tampering with an enrolled athlete at a rival instate program.

It would be freaking hilarious if the NCAA showed up in Columbia after all the nonsense spouted by chicken fans about Clemson.

What happens if he goes to usc, plays and then is declared ineligible because of tampering?

Someone is in deep doo doo, and I don't mean ice.

They just got banned from recruiting a HS last year over illegal contact with a recruit. They self reported it but still it shows that their staff has an issue following the recruiting guidelines. This is all going to fall on to Thompson who was the one pushing Belk to transfer. It's going to be funny when Belk can't play for them after they shelled out the $ for that lawyer.

NCAA will not do a JohnSwofford thing about this

Now coastal carolina might get 2 years but not the SEC. they have the Swofford blueprint- lawyer up, stay lawyered up and never admit anything
