Beer runs on his heels? I think that is why he has trouble with some fly balls. I always insisted that young outfielders who played for me learned to run on their toes. By doing that, the ball doesn’t appear to “hop” when you are running. I’m surprised that this hasn’t been pointed out to him. Did a coach ever mention this to any of you guys who played the game?
