Has Jack Made An Official Statement Yet?

I have been searching sports news pages and I have not yet seen an official statement from Jack Leggett. Has anyone read anything on that yet? I sort of feel like it was a big mistake to let him go. He has produced great seasons, and great players of the sport. He has also paved the way for many other coaches to build successful careers in coaching baseball. If it were me, I wouldn't have fired him until I at least found a candidate for a head coach. Now Clemson is in a position to take any old coach out of desperation.

never fully divulge what is actually going on behind the scenes. Clemson will have no shortage of qaulified candidates. Mistake or not will be proven over time, but something had to change.

Said he is confident he'll be back next year and ready to go back to Omaha. Can't beat his optimism.
