He is definitely a politician, and has been for several years.
The definition of a politician is "a person who is professionally involved in politics, especially as a holder of or a candidate for an elected office."
Mind you, I don't think this is a bad thing. I don't get why "politician" is considered an insult.

in the beginning, he said masks weren't recommended yet....yet (paraphrasing). Then when the virus started to spread and there was a mask shortage, the CDC did not recommend them for public use because they wanted to protect the supply for medical folks. Then when supply caught up, they recommended them for the public.
It requires reading past sounds bites and headlines.

He totally underestimated how stupid this administration could be in their response to the virus. And he didn't anticipate how his initial ambiguous language about masks could be weaponized as propaganda.
Doesn't mean I agree with Trump and how he tweets his disparagement toward this guy, but Fauci hasn't done much at all to earn a free pass from criticism. He certainly shouldn't be lauded for success, if we are measuring by the number of dead bodies.

So let's get this right...Trump thinks he's somehow going to win voters by getting into a very public p!ssing contest with his own infectious-disease expert 15 days before the election...after a very public and widespread COVID superspreader event in his own White House?
That seems real productive. And extremely likely to make up that almost-10-point deficit he's currently trailing his actual opponent by...you'd think maybe he'd save the Mean Tweets and campaign rhetoric for the guy he's campaigning against...you know, the one who's currently crushing him.
This is basically the equivalent of a same-team fight on the opponent's sideline during a rout in a football game. You just sorta look over and start shaking your head, because stuff is not going so good over there.

Q,
This guy thinks like an 8 year old. It's all about him and his feelings.
I can't wait to watch him try to control his mouth during the 3rd debate. Joe should be prepared to bait the trap early on.
