I thought the individual competition ended after three rounds. Is that not correct?

No it ends after the 4th and final round of stroke play.I watched the final round of the women's tournament this past Monday on the Golf Channel and the Wake Forest girl won it on that day.

Marshall, does anyone know what happened to Turk? Obviously he was hurt because no reason to just quit on front nine. I know Penley will look back and second guess Turk decision.. with all that happened. Darn shame. LP is snakebit. Had three studs that’d been playing so good and great opening round and even yesterday ended up in good position. Urgh...

I don't know, but I can't imagine he would simply stop playing unless there was an injury, even though it was virtually certain his score would not count.
