Good news For Bridge Program Kids

Feb 12, 2018, 10:23 PM

They get to wear the exact same ring as 4 year graduates. Take the bridge, the little bit extra they have to do to get in will keep them motivated not to become a freshman alcoholic train wreck

Yup and nowhere on my son’s degree does it say Clemson Bridge Degree! Proud Father of a Clemson graduate, gotta say I shed a tear or two as he walked across the stage graduating with Honors. Coming from a old, tired, heartless mean sumbeetch with only one feeling left that says something.

to Clemson and he has at least one feeling too. You mean SOBs soften up a little with age. I'm sure your son appreciates it!

Yup,he most definitely appreciates it, He loved his time at Clemson, proudly wears his ring even though it ticked off some classmates at UGA where he went for Law School.

In pondering it I would say that what he most appreciates is that he was not raised as a Trophy for 10th Place kid. He met a bunch while at Clemson, watched them struggle and have no clue on how to deal with real world stuff. He always knew that the real world is not rainbows, unicorns and puppy dogs.

You realize that your kid was in the Bridge program because

You realize his son has a Clemson degree right?

Hey--you're not smart enough for Clemson. We get it.

Feb 13, 2018, 11:50 AM

Thank god the Bridge program exists for crying snowflakes like you who can't earn their way in legitimately.

I went straight into Clemson, my wife did the Bridge program.

Both of our degrees are the same, and we both have Clemson rings.

Did you not get into the Bridge or Clemson? That must be the only reason for your butt to be so full of hurt right now.

I realize Clemson took advantage of a kid who couldn't get

accepted on his own.

I heard a guy did that and only paid $750 a year and now has a ludicrous salary.

I'm too old for the Bridge Program, but I think my diploma has an asterick on it somewhere. I'll look! And my ring is too small and the black stuff has chipped off.
