Germans - A term now meaning "A post that has been thoroughly discussed way to many times already, you jerk". A corruption of the John Belushi quote "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? #### no!" from the classic college movie Animal House; first used on the Tigerboard by 3rdgeneration® in the fall of 1999 after a particularly galling Clemson loss. This quote was used over and over to trip up newbies to the Tigerboard who hadn't seen (how, I'm not quite sure) Animal House into correcting our "Germans" to "Japs", placing them immediately on "double-secret probation"; much to the delight of old-timers. See also, "Pearl Harbor".
