DeVoe only had to play 24 minutes since his team was beating Auburn by 41 midway through the second half when Brad Brownell decided it was safe to start thinking about the Sweet 16. Before that, the senior guard buried 6 of 9 threes, scored 22 points, dished out five assists and snagged five rebounds.
Take a bow, young man

I can't recall a player who improved more during his years.

Does anyone remember how bad he was as a freshman and even sophomore? I thought for sure that he was destined for transfer to a lesser school. Credit to him for hard work.

never forget....he had the 'deer in headlights' look on the court as a freshman... the game was way too fast and physical for him...
he's come light-years
