Exactly what I was thinking as I saw this.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

sounds like a post op procedure; probably preventative or

Apr 12, 2012, 5:32 PM [ in reply to So what was all this about? ]

a simple clean up.

if there's no 'new' injury to the joint, tendon, ligament, cart or muscle and you have scar tissue that can continue to form, not a bad idea to get it out of the way.

walter payton had both knees scoped late in his career to simple 'clean' them up; if i remember, he called it his 10,000 yard tune up.

Glad to hear it's routine. I'm hoping for a big year for Andre, DJ, and Mike!

Sweet, I can't even read the article because some stupid ad

Apr 12, 2012, 6:18 PM

is covering it up. Seriously?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Sorry about that, it was certainly not on purpose

Apr 12, 2012, 7:51 PM

It looks like it only happened for Internet Explorer users. If it happened to you, please tmail me what version you were using. I moved the ad under the story. Please tmail me if it happens again, but was probably just a fluke.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Crump.......I thought Orange level got some of ads off.

Apr 12, 2012, 7:33 PM

I can't even read the guts of this article.

so I guess when they said AE was 100% a few days ago - they were just blowing smoke up our butts?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Minor, huh? O.K., I SURE hope so.***

When you are 100% healthy, you don't undergo surgery.***

so if you have a wart took off your a$$ you are not a 100% LOL just saying

This is no big deal and stop accussing AE of being a lair

I think he would know if he's 100% or not

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

So he has pre-scheduled surgery and they schedule it for

Apr 12, 2012, 8:43 PM

three days before the Spring game after he has practiced the entire Spring. They couldn't schedule it for Monday? It makes you wonder. Kind of like when they keep saying an injury is minor, then later you hear how bad it really was and how much it hindered their play. Like Ellington's injury last year and Watkins shoulder etc..

Re: So he has pre-scheduled surgery and they schedule it for

Apr 13, 2012, 8:23 AM

It is what it is! And it doesn't matter one I O Da how much more or less fans or others want to add or take away from the situation, it is still what it is. He will be back to do the job that our Tigers need for him to do. Hopefully, this tune up will go a long way in helping him to remain more durable than he has been. As we all know, RBs take a beating. Every body that's trying to take them down, out weighs them 50 to 150 pounds. Tuff job, but somebody has to do it.

It was scheduled awhile back. He made it through the whole spring. Why risk him getting hurt in a meaningless scrimmage

Nobody hid anything last year. Good grief

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

and he was 100% 3 days ago.....

looks like Dabo's selling skills are rubbing off on others quite well.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He felt the need to turn it up to 110%

Apr 13, 2012, 9:13 AM

Like the Spinal Tap amp that goes to 11. ;)

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Alright everyone settle down......

Apr 7, 2016, 8:31 PM

According to the release it is cleanup for a surgery he already had. Why they scheduled it before the spring game is weird but until something further comes to light just hope this is all there is. Also, the staff already knows what AE can do and he doesnt need to get hurt playing in a meaningless game Sat. Also wouldnt expect to see too much hitting on Sammy and Nuke either. Keep in mind the spring game is a glorified scrimmage and the coaches have certain things they are looking to do during that game. Seeing a bunch of proven vets out there doing there thing is something the coaches probably arent too interested in going into the summer. They want to see what the younger ones can do.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Timing is odd..he must have aggravated something...

Apr 13, 2012, 9:19 AM

otherwise they'd have put this off till after the Spring Game. Especially after David Hood's article about him being "100%" last week....

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Screw Calford.

Re: Timing is odd..he must have aggravated something...

Apr 13, 2012, 10:28 AM

This happens all the time. Look at the pro's they wait until training begins all the time.

It's just the spring game they said he'd be ready for summer workouts

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Major/Minor What the^^^^

Apr 14, 2012, 10:17 AM

Andre is perhaps the most pure runner I have seen @ Clemson since Kenny Flowers. I hope he recovers and sets the world on fire. Go Berkeley County Boy! Go!
Just my opinion.
