Free speech protects one from the government. It doesn't mean there are no consequences for one's speech. Some words deserved to be called out. When was someone's 1st amendment rights infringed upon?

Who needs a first amendment when the MiB can get you fired for saying you support police or won't kneel when told to do so? I mean sure you aren't being forced into a gulag by the government but being rendered permanently unemployable by the political left is a pretty harsh sentence for most non independently wealthy people. If you have to be anonymous to speak these types of things (and you do these days) somethings gone very wrong with this country. Good luck when they come for you as well, because they will.

The 1st amendment protects you from the gov. That is needed. Otherwise we would be like Iran. You're on your own otherwise. Speech has consequences. Who got fired for not kneeling? I haven't heard this. Colin Kaepernick got black balled for kneeling. I haven't heard who was fired for not kneeling.

Bree's wasnt fired but the rapidity at which he threw a lifetime of personal convictions out the window certainly implies he was told to drink the koolaid "or else". Just wait til some player somewhere doesn't kneel this fall. They will be personally and professionally destroyed. But hey as long as the govt isn't throwing them in prison its all good right? And I notice you had no retort to supporting the police getting people fired. That's because it's happening literally every day. Don't even have to debate that one. Hell people are getting fired for saying the defund police movement is bad for the Democrats politically. Can't even have an honest discussion about that apparently. But yeah freedom of speech is important, as long as you're saying what the mob with a knife at your throat approves.

You obviously know very little about the NFL. The guy was plenty good to at worst be a backup. There was a reason he was given a 126 million dollar extension. It was because of kneeling and pressure from conservative football fans who thought he was disrespecting the flag.

Colin Kaepernick tried. You conservatives lost your mind and he lost his job. He was plenty good enough to be in the league as a backup at worst. That is true though that liberals get away with more though. Then again the white supremacists, xenophobes, and homophobes, are usually on the conservative side. For many of them, tolerance and acceptance is a one way street. You have to be tolerant and accepting of their life styles, views, and beliefs otherwise, you're labeled a bigot, a racist or a hate monger. However, they certainly can't be expected to and likely won't reciprocate.
