For goodness sakes Deshaun

If you somehow end up with the 49ers, please don't let Colin Kraperneck influence you. Dabo has given you all the tools necessary to be a better man than that disrespectfully JackArse over there!

What makes you think you know how Deshaun feels...

[16]
Posted: Jan 18, 2017 3:59 PM

about that issue? Not claiming I know, but I've yet to hear Deshaun speak about social or political issues. So why are you posting about something that's really irrelevant to where Watson ends up or his success in the NFL, and you having no clue at to how he feels about an issue like that?

Didn't say I knew how Deshaun feels, I said do not let that Jackarse kraperneck over there influence him. Yes, I called Kraperneck a JackArse.

It's called changing the subject.

It's one of the libtards' favorite games. They don't like what you say so they put words in your mouth and then attack what they said you said instead of what you actually said.

you're describing yourself, it's what your ilk does every time they're confronted with facts***

That is rich coming from the guy who numerous times on this site has used the race card after losing an argument.

you've certainly let us know your opinion on every issue known to man.

Man, errr sorry. I'm know you recognize 42 different genders and that was an offensive statement.

Yeah, Lord forbid that DW should fall under the sway of a guy who donates $1 million of his own money to causes he believes in.

apparently one of those causes is disrespect for USA flag

He'll need to do a of of good with his money to over-ride that bad decision.

Seems to me that you care more about the flag itself than what it represents.

You'd be wrong.

I care deeply about The Flag, and I know exactly what it represents.

So why are your panties in a wad about a man exercising his First Amendment right to freedom of expression?

2019 white level member

He can do what he wants. I don't have to like it. and ...

[4]
Posted: Jan 18, 2017 8:17 PM

... it's pretty obvious I'm not alone on this.

You can call it freedom of expression if you want, but what he is actually doing is spitting on the one thing most representative of the very freedoms he enjoys as an American.

Better people than Colin Kaepernick have fought and died throughout our history to protect our flag and the rights and freedoms it represents.

As I said ... he can do whatever he wants, but others don't have to klike it. I'm one who doesn't like it.

Re: He can do what he wants. I don't have to like it. and ...

Couple of things:

he spoke with military veterans and asked them what the best way to protest a cause without disrespecting what they did for the country and the veterans suggested kneeling.

and I hope Deshaun Watson protests injustice his entire career by kneeling and calling out wrongdoers just so it can make people like you mad.

Re: He can do what he wants. I don't have to like it. and ...

[2]
Posted: Jan 18, 2017 8:34 PM

And you act like everyone who fought for this country was opposed to his protest. There were thousands of veterans that supported his rights. So basically you are just against his message

Correct, I'm very much against his message.

[4]
Posted: Jan 18, 2017 9:53 PM

I support his rights but I think he's dead wrong. If that makes people like you mad so be it.

I doubt seriously that Deshaun will ever get caught up in the issu, but if he does I'll say the same about him.

No, what he's actually doing is kneeling - not spitting. And donating a substantial amount of money to charities across the US:

https://www.google.com/amp/www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/colin-kaepernick-says-hell-donate-1-million-to-charities-that-help-communities-in-need/amp/?client=safari

Seems to me that it's about as good and peaceful of a way to protest what he believes is an injustice as he could do.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg

You see it as kneeling, I see it as spitting

Posted: Jan 19, 2017 8:44 AM

We both have the right to our individual perspectives.

The American Flag represents our right to express our opinions.

My opinion is that Kaepernick is dead wrong.

That's my right.

Deal with it.

Calmer than you are.***

like I said before it got deleted,

Posted: Jan 19, 2017 11:32 AM

Both are offensive. However, CK has the "freedom of expression" protection from the media and fellow liberals. Rocker expressed himself too, however, the judgement police in the media threw the noose around his neck and ran him up the tree figuratively. So let's not pretend there is a protection for any and all "freedoms of expressions."

Because he is against freedom of speech***

The freedom that flag represents is not the same freedom for everyone. That's what people don't understand.

Freedoms of speech or expression is guaranteed in our Constitution; however, there are workplace rules and consequences. He was at work and if the had wanted they could have taken action, if nothing else making him stay in locker room until festivities are over

No, I expressed myself just fine.
See how that works. By the way, If being oppressed is making millions of dollars to play a game then count me in. Kapernick was wrong.

you're both free to do whatever you want. nothing wrong with what he did or what you're doing. but what you say is not fact, its opinion. and i will treat it as so. if you're so inclined, start a movement

Did John Rocker get the benefit of freedom of expression? How did that work out? Only difference here is CK has the media on his side.

so, its ok to always blame the media?? they are an easy mark for everybody. when in doubt, assign blame.

Hmm. Those actions are very different. One is protesting prejudice and discrimination. Rocker on the other hand was guilty of prejudice.

I think it is ok for the media to treat those differently.

Sorry to burst your bubble but 90% of the black football players on Clemson support Obama.

"We establish no religion in this country, we mandate no belief. Nor will we ever. Church and state are, and must remain, separate." ~Ronald Reagan

They can support Obama w/out disrespecting the flag. Right?

[3]

Not sure what supporting Obama has to do with Kaepernick's politics.

I think we can leave deshauns decision making to him

Repukes that masquerade as "patriots" and "real Americans" will go into butthurt mode on one of Clemson's favorite sons. Don't worry. Trump is taking over and promised crime will end. DW will have nothing to complain about.

Let him decide. Unless you'really a person of color, I don't think your opinion matters too much on the topic. Kind of like how you would not want someone of color how to act about an issue involving white people.
