If he drove very many nails with that stiff arm swing, his shoulder was killing him when he went home. Hey Coach, your forearm and wrist is all you use to drive nails. Also, a tap and 3 swings is all you get using a 16 penny nail as a Rookie! Its fundamentals coach, just fundamentals!!!;)

choke up on the hammer as you lose all leverage. Into the pine headers might take an extra swing or two. I'm wondering if they were shooting the bottom plates or using cut nails. That's when you really test a hammer if the slab isn't fresh and "green'.
