I think that is business as usual. I don't put much into that

Would it be wrong to convince him to come to Clemson?***

Yes it would, and it is also wrong IF he is making the kid think he is going to be coaching at OU if he is not... Dabo needs to stoping playing ring around the roses with this guy. And hire Clemson a DC that reaaly wants to join our team. And Quit with the one that is using Clemson to get his way at OU....

And who is the one that WANTS to be at Clemson?

Because, if you're talking about Shannon, he's tried and been shot down by Tennessee, he's supposedly interviewing at West Virginia, etc. He WANTS to be wherever he sticks it sounds liketome.

If Venables has been told not to say anything about the situation how does that make him NOT WANT to be at Clemson? If he has already accepted the job but not allowed to say anything that doesn't mean he doesn't want to be here...

If he has already accepted the position at Clemson, he would not still be around the University of Oklahoma. I believe he has been offered the job, but is looking at his options. These days, its hard to keep a secret in college football without somebody finding out.

The hard to keep secret is being kept from you, dude.

Courtesy would be not to visit him if he was still on the fence about a move. Had he done this visit tonight, I would have said he wasnt coming.
