Let's say we play Georgia in tuneup spring game.

Should there be kickoffs or should each team get the ball on the 20?

Should each QBs wear yellow, no contact jersey?

Should backup QBs and 2nd Team Offenses and Defenses be required to go at each other for a least one quarter?

...would be to have the O-W Game and the Silver Britches Game (or whatever they call it) at the same time.

Put your QBs in a no-tackle jersey spot the ball in a variety of situtions with different personnel and have at it.

The only difference is your guys are perpping against someone they aven't seen all spring....and likely every other year your spring game would be someplace besides Death Valley.

And in an era when we may well be seeing lesss and less of nearby rivals, it's one small way to hang onto the rivalries that many of us grew up with. For example, when's the last time you've seen the inside of Neyland Stadium? And Lord knows those off-orange cowards never saw the inside of Death Valley!
