But they are in the best conference, and their players are really tall, yada, yada, yada. I agree with you, but we can play a big part in undoing some of that bias, or at least put ourselves in that elite group that gets the attention by doing just what we did against LSU. We are getting there, and we are doing it the right way, and when we do get there, I doubt anybody can take it away for a long time.

they are basing a lot on how last year ended. There are really very few teams anyone can predict accurately how good they will be! That's across the board too, not just SEC and ACC squads.

Apparently you were out when LSU and Clemson played in the Chic Fil A bowl. Venables has our defense clicking on seven good cylinders. When we play the sooner pup's from Athens Jawja, we will be hitting on all Eight with deep back up power to spare. And the Jawja fans will have the look of that ugly A$$ sooner puppy they call their mascot on all of their faces. When y'all leave Death Valley on August 31st, you will leave defeated. So please don't throw your ugly A$$ car flags out on the side of our Hwy's.

I was wondering about that myself. I know and understand that most of the Elite teams can plug holes with very good back ups. But the dawgs lost a lot of their starting line up on the defensive side, and a few I'm sure on the offensive side. And the "Experts", are saying they are still a top 5 team. BS, they may end the season as a top 5 team, but I don't see them starting the season as a TRUE top 5.
