to insure bama can play lsu if ok state and stanford lose.losing ugly at home should drop you more than two spots.and they did lose ugly the score was close.but to miss 4 fgs and a few turnovers is ugly loss imo.had it been anyone else they would be saying how they dont deserve a nat title shot

The pollesters may have done their job,but I wonder how many people would tune in on a rematch.Hopefully Ok.St. and Standford win out,and even possibly Boise St.
The other thing we can hope for is a Bama loss at Auburn,or an Arkansas win at LSU.

What I wonder is what would happen if the three remaining unbeatens all end up with one loss,or if the SEC East winner were to upset the West winner.
