I was actually expecting to read something assinine like it was moving to Dec. 28. Whenever the ACC makes a decision I expect the worst.

The ACC wants to move it up so football can end sooner and they can focus more on the UNC/Duke game.

Makes sense since tied into 4 team championship

Inevitable move since 4 championship games to be played on Dec 31 and Jan 1 with NC 10 days later. They are floating idea of rotating 6 bowls including Orange.

I think you mean 2 champ games (4 teams) and they arent't floating the 6 bowl rotation, it is a part of the approved system.

CUTigerGrad said earlier that he was expecting something asinine like moving the OB to Dec 28th...in my opinion, that would be perfect. I also think it would be smart to start the CFB season a week later so the Conference Championship games would be the second (or even third) weekend of December.
The idea is to make the post season flow better with the regular season. As much as I love bowl-season, the gap is just SOOO #### big. Sometimes there's as many as 40-days in between the last game a team has played and their bowl game. It's just too much in my opinion and I think it needs to be changed.

Just my opinion, but

with the talk of taking back New Year's Eve & Day, the bowl game schedule will be condensed and will probably start mid December. Otherwise I don't see how they can get all 25/26 bowls in before the last 2 on 1/1/2015

Capital One want in. Not a big fan of the renaming of bowls. I think the Cotton's actual name is "Cotton Bowl Classic Presented By AT&T"
